On Wednesday, St. Ann’s Community hosted our newest signature event, “The Med”.  Over 50 of our  medical colleagues joined us to hear more about our clinical capabilities, our exceptional clinical outcomes and to tour our Transitional Care Center.  Our “MED” event was the first of many to engage directly with all our care partners and showcase our abilities to help more patients by offering care few communities can.  Our medical team has been diligent to offer more services to rehabilitate cardiac patients with better outcomes; we continue our Heart Matters program which provides cardiac specific care to anyone coming to us with a cardiac condition regardless of the reason for their entrance to transitional care.  Our Parkinson’s speech therapies do the same; offering innovative and progressive services to those with Parkinson’ disease.  Our newest cardiac care services will include LVAD patient care, care for life vest patients and new capabilities include Milrinone drug therapy and tracheotomy care.  Our list is growing and our doctors and nurses are continually exploring new ways to serve those we are privileged to care for.  We had a wonderful  evening of “camaraderie and cheer” with our medical partners and continue all efforts to be integral in coordinating the best care “for the most important people on earth”.  See you at our next “MED” event and in the interim please visit our link to our new capabilities brochure. https://www.stannscommunity.com/files/5814/3800/4938/clinical.pdf
