Scholarship Program Helps St. Ann’s Employees Reach Their Goals
(August 30, 2017) Employees of St. Ann’s Community are getting a helping hand toward their educational goals thanks to the Employee Scholarship Program.
On August 10, 29 employees from across St. Ann’s workforce in Irondequoit and Webster received monetary awards totaling nearly $30,000 through the Employee Scholarship Program. Funded entirely through the generosity of donors to St. Ann’s Foundation, the program has awarded more than $270,000 in scholarships to 190 employees to advance their education. The program began in 2008.
“Our employees are the heart and soul of the work we do caring for more than 1,000 seniors every day,” said Michael E. McRae, President & CEO of St. Ann’s Community. “That’s why we make it a priority to invest in them.
“We thank our donors for making these scholarships possible, and we congratulate our recipients as they pursue their educational and professional goals.”
