In early June, Home Connection Adult Day Program participants and staff decided to get creative with their crafts. They teamed up with Greece Public Library to create night light jars. In order to create the night lights, participants and staff used a special neon glow paint. The neon glow paint needs to be charged by light in order for it to glow in the dark, no black lights needed!
Once completed, the jars will be donated to local children’s hospitals.
Everyone loved the project and were thrilled to give back to the community, especially the children! Home Connection is hoping to do more projects in the future where they can continue to craft for a cause!
