St. Ann’s Care Center was named one of the top-performing skilled nursing facilities in the state this week by the New York State Department of Health.
Established in 2012, St. Ann’s Care Center offers 72 private skilled nursing beds for long-term care. It is located on the St. Ann’s Community at Cherry Ridge campus in Webster.
“We have always been proud of the quality of care we deliver at St. Ann’s Care Center,” said Michael E. McRae, President and CEO of St. Ann’s Community. “It is a testament to the skill, dedication, and compassion of our staff that St. Ann’s Care Center is recognized as one of the best in the state. We are proud of our entire team for this accomplishment and what it means for those we serve.”
The statewide distinction is the result of St. Ann’s Care Center ranking at the top of the Department of Health’s Nursing Home Quality Initiative for the last three years. The initiative assigns points to facilities in three categories: Quality, Compliance, and Efficiency. Based on its score, St. Ann’s Care Center ranked among the top-performing facilities. It is one of only 33 skilled nursing facilities in the state—and only three in Rochester—to achieve that ranking.
The list, released by the Department of Health this week, is available on the Nursing Home Quality Initiative website:
